James L. Kimble, Vice President

Mr. Kimble joined Trident Investment Group in June, 2001. Prior to joining Trident he practiced law with Wright, Robinson, Osthimer & Tatum of Washington, D.C. with focus on insurance matters associated with professional liability, comprehensive general liability and environmental liability, as well as on representation of employers in all aspects of the law of the workplace. Previous to his practice of law,  Mr. Kimble held a variety of positions, including Senior Counsel and Litigation Manager, at the American Insurance Association (AIA) which he joined in 1973.  In that capacity, he counseled the AIA internal committees on environmental issues; represented  the Association in the rulemaking process before state environmental agencies and insurance departments; supervised legislative matters related to federal and state environmental law; and served as a principal lobbyist for all liability-related issues reviewed by the U.S. Congress and independent agencies. 

Mr. Kimble graduated from Denison University and the George Washington University Law Center. He is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Environmental Claims Journal, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims, and an author of numerous publications relating to environmental law issues.
